Ping Glide 4 graphite wedges are here. The latest updated wedge from Ping features an overhaul compared to the Glide 3.0. The new Glide 4 wedges are designed to be more compact, tighter, easier to nip. With a lower flight window for more increased spin, and better bite. The reintroduced an Eye2 grind, which will look a little different but a hark back to those classic days. Its a real popular model from Pingï¾’s history.
The PING Glide 4 graphite wedge line will now consist of four grinds (SS, TS, WS and Eye2) A precision-machined face and grooves, as well as a new textured face blast. It boosts spin and control, while a bigger CTP and softer steel improve the feel. Four different grind settings optimise versatility on full and finesse approaches around the greens, as well as from the bunker. At address, the small, elegant like silhouette conveys confidence and control.
The multi-material construction combines 8620 carbon steel with a larger and softer elastomer insert to provide a soft, responsive feel. The additional volume of the custom tuning port allows for 36% more face contact. The Glide 4.0 setup appeals to the eye with its rounded, compact design that benefits from advancements to the lead edge and hosel transition.
