Ping i525 Irons graphite shaft are a super new breed of iron – and you will enjoy hitting it. Great looks with lots of 2022 power. A thinner topline to take the appearance of players shapes yet very compact that true players will love and admire. Dont be fooled by its looks. Its actually hollow so its super easy to hit for the serious player or mid-low handicapper who wants to lean on more distance. A new hollow-body iron set to provide extra distance, and super speeds. With also an option of Power Spec and a retro spec for those who want more loft and flight it higher. A blade with distance? For sure. Designed to offer maximum distance and feel for the mid-to-low handicapper.

Ping designed the i525 with an internal undercut to improve performance on low-struck shots. On thin shots, the face bends farther back for more efficient energy transfer. While the i525 is designed for better players, no one hits every shot perfectly. So Ping added high-density, 6-gram weights made of steel and tungsten to the toe and inside the heel. That extra perimeter weighting increases stability and makes the heads less susceptible to twisting. Especially on off-center hits.

To improve the sound and feel of the i525, Ping added 4 grams of hot melt. It is a soft EVA polymer to the back of each clubs face. It does not inhibit the face from flexing but soaks up excessive vibrations to make the i525 feel more like a blade at impact.

Ping i525 complete with MicroMax grooves for added consistency from the fairway and the rough. They are packed more tightly in the hitting area to help maintain spin on long-iron shots. And also reduce the severity of flier lies on short-iron approach shots. Ping also designed the i525 with a HyrdoPearl Chrome 2.0 finish because this repels water for better performance in wet conditions and from the rough.
