The Splitback Spider GT is upon us with a new season and new game. New confidence. TaylorMade introduces the Spider GT notchback to the acclaimed Taylormade Spider franchise setting a new standard of performance and contemporary construction. The Spider GT family of putters consists of the GT, the GT SplitBack, the GT Notchback, and the GT Rollback. Each of the new putters also benefits from the PureRoll2 insert which is slightly firmer than its predecessor. It is constructed from black TPU Urethane and contains silver beams that run at a 45ï¾° angle, improving topspin at all points of the face.
The TaylorMade Spider GT SplitBack Putter is a split back head design that features enhanced perimeter weighting for stability and consistent distance control. A white back cavity sits behind the topline and the contrast colour helps the golfer align the clubface correctly. Urethane foam has been strategically positioned along the sole of the putter, improving feel, sound, and weight distribution. It has a small slant hosel with 25ﾰ toe-hang – ideal for strokes with a slight arc.
