A brand new Open Hosel Construction benefits the powerful sound and feel but will help the TSR2 instantly appeal to the majority of golfers. This model will be great for those looking for maximum forgiveness. Without compromising on performance.
The Titleist TSR2 fairway wood offers the most forgiveness out of the new models as it has the lowest CG of any Titleist fairway club. This helps to produce a higher ball flight whilst still producing maximum speed off the face. And without imparting excessive backspin that a typical deep CG club would impart. The rather clever chaps at Titleist have engineered an all new hosel design. It has allowed them to remove unwanted weight that was located high and towards the heel. Freeing them up to make performance enhancing improvements in multiple areas. This new Open Hosel design Construction has also improved the acoustics of the club through strike and an all new powerful impact sound has been created.
The standard range of shafts on offer have been handpicked by Titleist offer the best compatibility with each of the heads and provide plenty of choice to ensure the perfect fairway wood for you is available as a standard option. This is further enhanced by a range of premium shaft options from Graphite Design.

Because this produces a quick, high, pure ball flight but without adding too much backspin like a typical deep CG club would.
